The Dison fife is a period correct, Civil war era, Bb fife and is patterned after one sold by the Oliver Ditson Company when they were located at 277 Washington St in Boston MA. (circa 1857 to 1868). This fife features period correct, tapered brass ferrules that are made from sheet brass, and brazed like the original. Supply of the Ditson is limited.

The Ditson fife is a period correct, Civil war era, Bb fife and is patterned after one sold by the Oliver Ditson Company when they were located at 277 Washington St in Boston MA. (circa 1857 to 1868). This fife features period correct, tapered brass ferrules that are made from sheet brass, and brazed like the original. Supply of the Ditson is limited. This is an excellent instrument that will work well with other instruments with similar styling.
